My latest piece on the Biznology blog is up. This time around I’ve focused on the anti-matter of content marketing: marketing that takes a stand against something rather than for something.
Seems an odd idea at first glance: isn’t it always better to be positive? And yet, a quick scan of the headlines shows you that people tend to be more passionate about things they’re fighting against. Whether they’re right or wrong is another matter entirely, but people do feel strongly about common core standards in schools, climate change, the Yankees – or the Red Sox, depending on where you live.
You can put that passion to use in your content marketing by standing against something. Read the full article for examples of folks doing it right and how you can join them. Enjoy! And let me know what you stand against.
