Tried and True Tech Does the Trick for Advocacy Group

Thursday, January 2nd, 2014

Sometimes it’s tough to beat the tried and true, as was the case recently when Andigo helped OpenMIC configure and launch new “list serv” mailing lists for its team and members.

OpenMIC is a non-profit advocacy group seeking to promote competitive practices amongst media companies. A big part of their mission, of course, is keeping their constituents informed, and the many-to-many nature of list serv communications tools is an excellent way to foster communication and lively discussion.

Andigo’s work included setting up a mailing list-capable hosting environment and creating a mailing list-only subdomain so that the lists could be appropriately branded without affecting OpenMIC’s website or existing standard email services. Additional lists are planned for launch in the new year.
