Four years after its original design and launch, the Great Science for Girls website continues to grow and improve.
Still based on the Drupal content management system (CMS), the latest phase of the site includes an interactive Take Action section, where educators can find kits for getting GSG up and running, planning tools for implementing GSG programs, best practices information from peers, and more.
On the technical side, the site was moved to a new domain. Andigo’s SEO Migration plan helped maintain the existing positive search results the site has already accrued. The underlying CMS was also updated to ensure the site remains easy to use as web technologies change.
The phased approach GSG and Andigo have taken (in partnership with frequent collaborators Rappy & Company) lays the groundwork for continuous improvement without bumping up against the budget realities that many non-profits face today.
