Here’s Mashable’s take on being/not being The Most Annoying Person On Facebook.

It’s all fun and games if you’re just clowning around with your long-lost high school buddies, but there are real lessons here for content marketers. The two most important are:

1. It’s not all about you.

2. It had better interest me.

If you’re using social media as a marketing tool, you’d better not be posting constantly about yourself and your latest triumphs, or about things so wildly off-topic that they aren’t of interest to the majority of your audience.
